Two years after Season 6, the first part of Season 6 of Cobra Kai has finally arrived on Netflix. The martial arts drama continues the story of the Karate Kid films, depicting Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence's struggles to train new students and protect them from malevolent karate teachers and students. One of the two existing games from GameMill Entertainment, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, features 2-player local co-op. Both games are on sale on various digital storefronts, so now's a great time to jump in and start busting heads.

It's the year of the Ninja Turtles, with not one, not two, but three TMNT games coming out in 2024. The second of those titles isTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, which has just arrived on Switch courtesy of Super Evil Megacorp. Splintered Fate is the first Turtles roguelite, and it features 4-player local and online play. We've spent some time in co-op in order to bring you these detailed impressions.

I don't know if you've heard, but Barbie is a pretty big brand. There was this movie about Barbie last year that made like a jillion dollars, and I guess there's a popular toy line or something too. Well then, it only makes sense that a fresh barbie videogame is in the works. Barbie Project Friendship is coming from Outright Games. It will support 2-player local co-op when it arrives in October.

2016'sLost Castle is a pretty good action RPG from Singapore-based Hunter Studio. 8 years later, Lost Castle 2 is finally arriving on Steam Early Access. The sequel sports improved graphics, lots of equipment to find, and 4-player online play. It looks really promising, and it will arrive on July 25.

It's a big year for the Karate Kid franchise, with the final season of Cobra Kai debuting on July 18 on Netflix and a (probably way less good) film coming to theaters in December. GameMill Entertainment, makers of TMNT Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants, is getting in on the karate action as well. Ever since Outright Games announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, the game based on the recent animated movie, we've wondered what it would play like. This one isn't a beat 'em up, after all. Thanks to the release of the game's first animated trailer, we can finally see what the action will be like. TMNT games nearly always feature co-op, and the best of them have both local and online co-op to boot.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fatefor Switch was initially announced as only having online co-op, butSuper Evil Megacorp, the developer, has finally revealed that the game will have 4-player local co-op too! What's more, Splintered Fate will be heading to Steam after the July release of the Switch version.

Double Dragon, the original co-op beat 'em up franchise, is still going strong after nearly 40 years. Double Dragon Gaiden is a big hit, River City Girls 2 is getting Double Dragon DLC soon, and now a 3D entry is coming. Arc System Works recentlyrevealed Double Dragon Revivein a Japanese magazine, showing off some character artwork and screenshots. We don't know a lot about Revive yet, but we fully expect it to support 2-player co-op.
